There are newer versions of NeoFreeBird available.

NeoFreeBird is a modified Twitter app with branding reverts, BHTwitter and other QoL modifications. It also seems to be faster compared to the official Twitter app, which says something.

Twitter, version 10.77.1:

  • Updated the Twitter build to 10.77.1
  • Fixed the Add New Muted Word menu being blank

NeoFreeBird, version 0.4:

  • Made the Twitter bird blue
  • Made the Video/Media tab use the Vine icon instead
  • Grok support is fixed with reduced tab icon size
  • Fixed DM reactions
  • Disabled data-collection being sent to Twitter
  • Added support for the new block system, where you can still see public tweets from someone who has blocked you
  • Added support for the new tap-and-hold to view retweets/likes menu

NeoBHTwitter, version 4.3.2:

  • Added the ability to hide the Video (Vine) tab
  • Added Swedish as a locale
  • Minor translation updates

You can pick between new (regular NeoFreeBird) or old icons (NeoFreeBird Classic). Both contain the same patches, but the old icons one uses the 2020-era Twitter icons whilst the new icons one uses the icon set of the latest Twitter branded app. You get the birdhouse and the Twitter bird back in both.

Slight warning, the Classic version has inconsistent icons, as it (primarily) uses the old icons, but has the new ones for newer features. I'm in the process of retrofitting them, so if stuff looks inconsistent, that's why.
