Creative requests could lose their original scope or source facts between workers, repeat already completed mutations after a crash, or report delivery against stale evidence. This change preserves author permissions, source versions and completed results through creation, revision, review, export and recovery.

  • Bind localized edits to the original author request and source. Resolve explicit paragraph positions from author intent before reading prose, then map them to immutable source addresses; resolve content references separately. Preserve script speaker labels, directions and surrounding bytes; retain coordinator retry advice and return the actual permitted selections alongside the change receipt across chapter and generic artifact edits. Speaker blocks protect inline parenthetical cues even when the name is on a separate line.
  • Checkpoint the closest unfinished opening before validation, preserving saved chapters across retries. Save completed chapter revisions before state projection and resume the same unpublished prose after a later failure, bound to the original source, author request, hard bounds and story authority. Restore bound Studio sessions after reload and persist successful tool results before publishing completion, so retry after a crash does not repeat the mutation.
  • Keep translation inputs attached to registered source revisions. Preserve complete fanfic source text when it fits the context budget, and carry original authority into character-card generation as well as the outline and rules.
  • Attach review findings to the actual reviewed revisions and keep quality opinions distinct from operation completion. Generate packaging from the current manuscript, review its factual promises and apply at most one package correction. Preserve remaining findings against the exact reviewed version. Require conditional film dialogue to vary on reachable states.
  • Share request compatibility handling between Studio and workers. Default requests omit implicit sampling, reasoning, storage and forced positive tool-choice settings. Bounded worker retries preserve schema error codes and field issues so the coordinator receives actionable failure details.

Validation: 741 Core, 308 Studio and 88 CLI tests and the workspace build passed. The 21 focused worker/stream checks include schema diagnostics surviving exhausted correction attempts. Focused flows cover source pinning, revision retries, protected text, review/export receipts and recovery. Real Sonnet 5.5 probes verified a previously failing bounded revision in one submission, exact three-chapter translation source lineage, and complete source delivery to character-card generation. A real process-crash/native-retry test preserved the committed scene without repeating its mutation. Studio recovery also passed two browser/API flows and real reload checks.

Release acceptance remains incomplete. Frozen C44 binds 42fc8bf and digest 811e7d2e53c1e0943417dbf28b12131fe02c81f7ff102522713bd1d795c3c667. Node 22/24 suites passed (Core 737, Studio 308, CLI 88 each), installed identity matched 1831 production files, and legacy migration passed. Twelve main native A/B pairs have delivered so far; imitation B failed and the romantic-comedy native pair has completed, with its final content read still pending. Exported-film playback reached both endings and verified visible dialogue variation for the required flag. The same frozen runtime passed an isolated process-crash/native-retry check without repeating the committed scene. Independent script review found the standalone-speaker cue boundary defect repaired in ba9acee; imitation and continuation revisions still exposed incorrect source localization. The current-source imitation replay changed only the last paragraph within the length limit. A separate native crash/retry retained the exact unpublished revision with four prose calls before the crash and four total after recovery. A first-two-paragraph control preserved its scope but still exceeded the original length ceiling. Later repairs still need a successor candidate. Independent reads also confirmed a translation amount error and a short-fiction opening/body amount mismatch; content and market acceptance remain open.
