Summary

  • use static mocking to assert theme changes only update AppCompatDelegate when needed
  • add expectations for stored and default navigation preferences and startup flag behaviour
  • capture language locale application to ensure AppCompatDelegate receives the requested LocaleListCompat

Testing

  • ./gradlew test (fails: Android SDK not configured in CI container)
