Implementation sandboxes and orchestration for multi‑agent LLM workflows
Run, compare, and orchestrate Copilot, Codex, Claude and other agents in configurable pnpm sandboxes.
Inspired by Matt Pocock Sandcastle — https://github.com/mattpocock/sandcastle.
MartiX Factory is a lightweight platform for building, running, and comparing implementation sandboxes that execute developer tasks with multiple LLM agents in parallel. It provides a modular adapter layer for different LLM providers, a configurable category system for default models, pnpm workspace support for fast local development, and a GitHub issues driven task lifecycle so experiments are reproducible and traceable.
This project starts as a fork of Matt Pocock’s Sandcastle and adapts the sandbox orchestration and TypeScript core to a development stack focused on .NET C#, React TypeScript, and Fluent UI while keeping a shared TypeScript orchestrator for cross‑platform logic.
- Multi‑agent orchestration: run multiple agents in parallel and compare outputs.
- LLM category configuration: define categories and set default LLMs per category via YAML or JSON.
- pnpm workspaces: fast installs and deterministic dependency management for TypeScript parts.
- .NET and React templates: sandbox templates for dotnet C# services, React TypeScript frontends with Fluent UI.
- Adapter interface: pluggable adapters for new providers with a small, consistent API.
- GitHub Issues integration: tasks, subtasks, labels and metadata drive experiments and CI triggers.
- Reproducible sandboxes: each run captured as a commit or branch with inputs, configs, and outputs.
- Extensible CLI: create, run, compare, and export sandbox runs from the command line.

The orchestrator and core logic remain TypeScript to maximize reuse between the web UI, CLI, and CI. Language specific sandboxes use dotnet tooling and React toolchains but follow the same task schema and issue-driven lifecycle.
