Installation Instructions

This is a beta release of the extension. To install it, follow the steps below:

1. Clone or Download the Repository

   • Clone the repository using the command:

     git clone https://github.com/Live-Software-Developer/Jupiter-Jots

     or download the repository as a ZIP file.

2. Open Chrome Extensions Page

   • Open Google Chrome.
   • Click on the extensions icon (puzzle piece icon) in the toolbar.
   • Select Manage Extensions from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, you can navigate directly to chrome://extensions/.

3. Enable Developer Mode

   • In the top-right corner of the Extensions page, toggle the Developer mode switch to turn it on.

4. Load Unpacked Extension

   • Click on the Load unpacked button that appears in the top-left corner.

5. Select the Extension Folder

   • If you cloned the repository, navigate to the folder named dist and select it.
   • If you downloaded the repository as a ZIP file, unzip it first, then select the extracted dist folder.

The extension will now be installed and available in Chrome. You can pin it to the toolbar for easy access.
