Algae

Comparison:

algae_on algae_off

Configurations:

  • Enable: Toggle algae on or off (default: true).
  • Distance limit: Maximum distance from the player at which algae will be rendered (default: 1000).
  • Horizontal offset: Horizontal distance to randomly shift algae sideways by (default: 0.1).
  • Size: Scale of the algae texture (default: 1).
  • Population: Chance for each dirt block to have an algae on top. 64 is 100% (default: 48, equivalent to 48/64 = 75%).
  • Biome List: List of biomes that algae can appear in (default: Only biomes related to Oceans or Rivers).

Better Cactus

Comparison:

Configurations:

  • Stem: Render additional texture in the main body of cacti (default: true).
  • Arms: Render occasional arms in the sides of cactus blocks (default: true).
  • Distance limit: Maximum distance from the player at which cactus textures will be rendered (default: 1000).
  • Size: Scale of the cactus textures (default: 0.8).
  • Size variation: Variation in the scale of the cactus textures (default: 0.1).
  • Horizontal offset: Horizontal distance to randomly shift the textures sideways by (default: 0.1).
  • Arm chance: Chance for each side of a cactus block to have an arm (default: 16, equivalent to 16/64 = 25%).

Better Lilypad

Configurations:

  • Enable: Toggle Better Lilypads on or off (default: true).
  • Distance limit: Maximum distance from the player at which lilypad details will be rendered (default: 1000).
  • Horizontal offset: Horizontal distance to randomly shift the textures sideways by (default: 0.1).
  • Flower chance: Chance for a lilypad to have a flower on it, out of 64 (default: 16, equivalent to 16/64 = 25%).

Connected Grass

  • Enable: Toggle Connected Grass on or off (default: true).
  • Snow enabled: Toggle Connected Snow on or off (default: false).

Coral

Comparison:

Configurations:

  • Enable: Toggle Coral on or off (default: true).
  • Distance limit: Maximum distance from the player at which this feature will be rendered (default: 1000).
  • Shallow water coral: Allow coral to appear on 1 block deep water (default: false).
  • Horizontal offset: Horizontal distance to randomly shift the textures sideways by (default: 0.2).
  • Vertical offset: Vertical distance to shift the coral by (default: 0.1).
  • Size: Scale of the coral texture (default: 0.7).
  • Crust size: Scale of the flat part of the coral texture (default: 1.4).
  • Coral chance: Chance for each side of a selected sand block to have coral in it, out of 64 (default: 32, equivalent to 32/64 = 50%).
  • Population: Chance that a sand block will be selected to have coral in it at all, out of 48 (default: 58, equivalent to 58/64 = 75%).
  • Biome List: List of biomes that coral can appear in (default: Only biomes related to Oceans or Beaches).

Extra Leaves

Comparison:

Snow coverings appear when a snow layer block is above a leaf blocks:

Configurations:

  • Enable: Toggle Extra Leaves on or off (default: true).
  • Enable snow: Enable extra snow rendering when this feature is on (default: true).
  • Distance limit: Maximum distance from the player at which extra leaves will be rendered (default: 1000).
  • Surface only: Only render extra leaves in leaf blocks with at least one exposed side (default: true).
  • Horizontal offset: Horizontal distance to randomly shift the extra leaf textures by (default: 0.2).
  • Vertical offset: Vertical distance to randomly shift the extra leaf textures by (default: 0.1).
  • Size: Scale of the extra leaf textures (default: 1.4).
  • Dense mode: Makes extra leaves even denser (default: false).

Falling Leaves

Configurations:

  • Enable: Toggle Falling leaves on or off (default: true).
  • Particle speed: Overall speed of the particle downfall (default: 0.05).
  • Wind strength: Magnitude of weather effects during normal weather. Spread of normal distribution centered on 0 (default: 0.5).
  • Storm strength: Magnitude of weather effects during stormy weather. Spread of normal distribution centered on 0 (default: 0.8).
  • Size: Scale of the falling leaf particles (default: 0.75).
  • Particle chance: Chance that a particle will be spawned when a random particle tick happens on a leaf block (default: 0.05).
  • Perturbation: Magnitude of perturbation effect. Adds a corkscrew-like motion to the particle synchronized to its rotation (default: 0.25).
  • Maximum lifetime: Maximum lifetime of particle in seconds. Minimum lifetime is 60% of this value (default: 5).
  • Opaque particles: Stop particles in front of transparent blocks from disappearing. (default: true).

Netherrack Vines

Comparison:

Configurations:

  • Enable: Toggle Netherrack vines on or off (default: true).
  • Distance limit: Maximum distance from the player at which netherrack vines will be rendered (default: 1000).
  • Horizontal offset: Horizontal distance to randomly shift the netherrack vine texture by (default: 0.2).
  • Minimum height: Minimum random height of a netherrack vine (default: 0.6).
  • Maximum height: Maximum random height of a netherrack vine (default: 0.8).
  • Size: Scale of the netherrack vine texture (default: 1).

Reeds

Comparison:

Configurations:

  • Enable: Toggle Reeds on or off (default: true).
  • Distance limit: Maximum distance from the player at which reeds will be rendered (default: 1000).
  • Horizontal offset: Horizontal distance to randomly shift the reed texture by (default: 0.2).
  • Minimum height: Minimum random height of a reed (default: 1.7).
  • Maximum height: Maximum random height of a reed (default: 2.2).
  • Population: Chance, out of 64, that a dirt block in shallow water will have a reed on top (default: 32, equivalent to 32/64 = 50%).
  • Biome List: Biome in which reeds may appear (default: Many biomes, check the list in-game).

Rising Souls

Configurations:

  • Enable: Toggle Rising Souls on or off (default: true).
  • Particle chance: Chance that a particle will be spawned when a random particle tick happens on a soulsand block (default: 0.02).
  • Perturbation: Magnitude of perturbation effect. Adds a corkscrew-like motion to the particle (default: 0.05).
  • Soul size: Scale of the soul particle (default: 1).
  • Trail size: Initial scale of the particle trail (default: 0.75).
  • Opacity: Opacity of the particle effect (default: 0.5).
  • Size decay: Scale of each trail particle sprite, relative to the size of the particle above it (default: 0.97).
  • Opacity decay: Opacity of each trail particle sprite, relative to the opacity of the particle above it (default: 0.97).
  • Maximum lifetime: Maximum lifetime of particle in seconds. Minimum lifetime is 60% of this value (default: 4).
  • Trail length: How many positions to keep for the trail effect (default: 48).
  • Trail density: Render a particle at every Nth trail position (default: 3).

Round Logs

Comparison:

Configurations:

  • Enable: Toggle Round Logs on or off (default: false).
  • Distance limit: Maximum distance from the player at which round logs will be rendered (default: 1000).
  • Chamfer radius: Size of the diagonal section of the log corner, in ratios of the block length. (default: 0.25).
  • Connected chamfer radius: Size of the diagonal section of the log corner, when connected to another log block, in ratios of the block length. (default: 0.44).
  • Dimming: How dark to make the shadow of obscured side of rounded blocks (default: 0.7).
  • Connect to solid: Should rounded logs connect to other solid blocks adjacent to it? (default: false).
  • Lenient rounding: Connect Logs that form an L shape, not only when they are in a 2x2 formation (default: true).
  • Connect to perpendicular logs: Connect rounded logs to to others positioned at 90 degrees from it's axis (default: true).
  • Connect grass: Render grass block under logs instead of dirt if there is grass nearby (default: true).
  • Z-Protection: Amount to scale parallel log connection bits to stop Z-fighting (flickering). This should be set as high as possible without experiencing glitches (default: 0.99).

Short Grass and Mycelium

Configurations:

  • Enable Grass: Toggle Short Grass on or off (default: true).
  • Enable Mycelium: Toggle Short Mycelium on or off (default: true).
  • Enable under snow: Toggle Short Grass on snow covered grass blocks on or off (default: true).
  • Distance limit: Maximum distance from the player at which these features will be rendered (default: 1000).
  • Horizontal offset: Random distance to shift the texture rendering by, horizontally (default: 0.2).
  • Minimum height: Minimum height of the short grass / mycelium (default: 0.6).
  • Maximum height: Maximum height of the short grass / mycelium (default: 0.8).
  • Size: Scale of the textures (default: 1).
  • Use generated textures for grass: Dynamically generate a texture for the short grass based off of the current resource pack's tall grass texture (default: false).
  • Saturation threshold: Color saturation cutoff between "colorless" blocks (using biome color) and "colorful" blocks (using their own specific color) (default: 0.1).
