Deliverable 1
The project involves developing a comprehensive online game store platform called Pixel Plaza. Similar to Steam, Pixel Plaza allows users to browse a wide variety of video games, add them to a shopping cart, place orders, and leave reviews. What sets the platform apart is its integration of AI technology (Gemini), enabling administrators to generate balanced reviews at the click of a button. In addition, users have the opportunity to create their own game publishing companies, becoming administrators with access to advanced features like CRUD operations on games, categories, companies, and users.
The platform will focus on three main areas:
- User Shopping and Review Experience: Users can browse, purchase games, and leave detailed reviews.
- Game Publishing and Management: Users who upgrade to administrators can manage their game publishing companies and utilize the administrative dashboard for game, category, and user management.
- AI-Driven Insights: Administrators can generate balanced review summaries using AI, providing more accurate insights into game performance.
Additionally, users can view the most purchased games overall, by category, and by company, enhancing their purchasing decisions.
- End Users (Gamers): They will enjoy an engaging shopping experience with reviews, top purchased games, and community interactions.
- Administrators (Game Publishers/Creators): They will have the tools to manage game listings and companies and leverage AI for deeper insights.
- Developers and the Pixel Plaza Team: Responsible for ensuring a seamless platform with regular updates, data accuracy, and user engagement.
- Enhanced User Experience: Gamers can easily find and purchase games, leave reviews, and engage with the community.
- Administrator Tools: Game publishers will have streamlined tools to manage content and gain AI-driven insights.
- AI-Powered Features: The use of AI ensures that review summaries are accurate, helping users make informed decisions.
