Releases: JaryJay/spring-dynasty
v0.0.2: working singleplayer campaign
In general, be careful of downloading and running random executables from the internet. Only run it if you trust me.
Windows
Download spring-dynasty-0.0.2-win.zip, unzip it, and run run_game.exe.
MacOS
Download spring-dynasty-0.0.2-mac.zip, unzip it, and run run_game.app. I have not tested this because I don't have a Mac. So it might completely break. Sorry!
v0.0.1: Minimum viable product
It's been a long wait, but it's finally here!
You can now play Spring Dynasty! 🎉 🎉 🎉
There are still some bugs here and there, but you can now enjoy single-player levels 1 to 3 and multiplayer with up to 6 people.
To actually play, you'll need to download that rather sketchy-looking spring-dynasty.zip file from the "Assets" dropdown, unzip it, and run Spring Dynasty.exe.
Alternatively, if you don't trust random zip files on the internet, you can download the Godot editor, clone this repository, and import and run the game from within the editor. (This is also the only option if you are on MacOS or Linux, since I was too lazy to export the game to those platforms.)
If you'd like to play multiplayer 🎮, either you have to host your server yourself -- as well as set up port forwarding, if you'd like to play with people outside of your local wifi network -- or, if you are my friend, you can ask me to! (I host the server on my PC and I already have port-forwarding set up and ready to go.)
Upcoming releases will feature more single-player levels, extra features and mechanics, and of course, lots of fixed bugs. Stay tuned ;D
