"Again..." is a short, narrative game made using Gamemaker Studio 2. The story follows an unlucky individual getting caught in a time loop, leaving him stuck in his apartment with no means of escape. Experience a few of the loops where you can interact with various objects to see the thoughts of the main character and get an insight into how he feels over time. There are a few minigames to break up the pace and drive the story.
This game was originally created for a school project over the course of a single semester. It is fairly short and was meant as an exercise in learning how to create assets for games and how to make games with Gamemaker Studio.
All assets included in this game (visual art as well as sounds) and all coding were done by me.
Controls:
- X/M to advance dialogue, interact with objects, and generic input for most minigames
- WASD/arrow keys to move left/right and input for one of the minigames
- This game was created with the end goal of being put into a physical arcade cabinet with predefined keybindings for the buttons, hence the somewhat unintuitive controls
