Cybersecurity grad (B.S., Western Michigan University) with CompTIA Security+ and Network+ certifications. I like systems that have to actually hold up under pressure — whether that's a scheduler in an OS, a security control, or a business process that breaks when nobody's watching it.
What I'm working on:
- 🔐 Security fundamentals — coursework and projects spanning systems, ML-based detection approaches (SVMs, CNNs, ensemble methods), and applied statistics
- ⚙️ Practical automation — building lead-capture and follow-up systems for small service businesses (trades contractors), end to end
- 🖥️ Low-level systems work — e.g. a CPU scheduler simulator written in Zig
Currently exploring: SOC analyst / security analyst paths, and how automation and security thinking apply to small business operations.
