This also changes the installation to use .dmg and run install4j instead of unpacking .tgz. Unpacking, while being lightweight, does not properly associate .sql files with the application. This was originally part of #8867, but running install4j in unattended -q mode didn't work properly (GUI was displayed), which was fixed in the latest version.

Note that the nicer implementation would be to use installer stanza instead of preflight, but it is not currently possible as #{staged_path} is not supported in the installer stanza. Can be improved when #8887 is merged.
