Upgrading Packages can Hang

When using the Homebrew App with one or more outdated packages, tapping "upgrade all" can hang. Running brew upgrade works & shows a "y/n" prompt; possibly this prompt was the cause of the UI hang? There was no output in the console panel for the hung upgrade.
