Please use this version if you plan on running Herwig event generation.
The sourced generator software dependencies from CVMFS were subject to several bugs which are fixed now. With this release the fixed versions are sourced and everything should be working now.

First stable release for MC-Run: a tool for lightweight, scalable, automated, and standardized MC event generation and Rivet analysis. It provides a workflow management implementation, based on LAW for distributable MC event generation with Herwig7 and Sherpa and subsequent analysis with Rivet.

Furthermore, a subsequent workflow for the generation and plotting of non-perturbative corrections from the generated and analysed samples is provided. The full dependency graph of the workflow is sketched for Herwig7 event generation here:

Graphical representation of full workflow management dependencies from event generation initialization with Herwig7 to plotting of non-perturbative corrections.

Similarly, events and non-perturbative corrections can be generated with Sherpa and compared to the ones created with Herwig7.
