Summary
Use of this code is late in the pipeline - data has been extracted from systems both automatically and manually, and we currently depend on human validation to ensure that the data meets the validation from the CDM.
There are steps we could take to reduce human error, and provide automatic checks on a CDM.
For example - if there are dates in a column, it is probably a column that needs dates. Are they all in the same format, are some incomplete?
This needs designing as a feature, as we understand what high impact and quick work validation steps we could put in place.
