You know those game ads where a hero with shiny weapons loses their whole arsenal, falls all the way down into a dungeon full of nasty adversaries and has to grit their way back up? That’s basically my career origin story.
I started my journey equipped with shiny modern Java and Spring Boot, but my first real dev job plunged me straight into the dungeons of lawless, framework-less legacy Delphi. I didn't just survive the drop; I fought the spaghetti monsters, mastered the tech stack in months, and became a "one-woman army." I took technical ownership of critical projects—including designing and implementing a new codebase management app from scratch—and successfully untangled massive bowls of spaghetti into neat, maintainable lasagna.
Now, armed with 2 years of battle-tested development experience, a bachelor's degree underway, and unbreakable resilience, I am clawing my way back to the surface to return to my roots: modern enterprise Java. Pair that technical grit with my 2+ years of prior professional experience in the financial sector, and I bring a unique useful build to your adventuring party.
- 🌍 TEAMMATES (Open Source Contributor): Actively contributing to a globally used, large-scale Java application. My focus has been on incrementally modernizing legacy architecture, replacing brittle GoF Singletons with pure Dependency Injection, and establishing safe testing seams without breaking production lifecycles.
- 💵 FinAdvise Planner: A Spring Boot CRM web app built for real-world financial advisory use cases as my main playground. I am directly leveraging my past career as a financial advisor to implement genuine business logic, client data management, and financial health analysis—bringing true fintech domain expertise into the code. [Work in progress]
- 🏗️ Enterprise Backend Magic (Day Job): Collaborating on the backend for the largest building supply chain in the country - think high performance, heavy lifting, and lots of data.
