All your essential needs are summed up in a very old plugin with a fitting name: originally called Essentials, now EssentialsX

Any teleportation mentioned in this section underlies a warmup and cooldown time, it will tell you in game how long those are.

Homes / Sethome

You can set a home point to where you are standing by using the command /sethome. By default this can only be done once but you can buy an extra home point in the admin shop. A second home can then be set by using /sethome [name].

To get back to a home point you can simply use /home [name]. So for example you could do the following in this order:

  1. Walk somewhere where you wanna set up your base
  2. Use /sethome somewhere
  3. Walk around and get lost in a mine
  4. Get back to your home point by using /home
  5. You decide that the old home spot is awful and you need a new one
  6. Use /sethome in another spot

You also have the option to delete a home by using /delhome [name]. You can buy more homes in the Premium Perks Shop.

AFK (Away From Keyboard)

If you're not doing anything you'll automatically be marked as AFK after a set time. It will not show a message in chat when you go AFK but it's visible in /list and if someone tries to message you. AFK also won't protect you from any damage or getting pushed around.

Messaging / PMing

You can message anyone in game directly by using /msg <player> <message> and you can answer to such messages with a short /r <message back>. You could also create an mcMMO Party but it's up to you what you do and what's the best option.

Another way of mentioning someone is by writing out their name and putting an @ in front of it. Capitalization matter so @Folas1337 would mention me but @folas1337 would not. It will then play a sound on that player and also show a big title message in the middle of their screen.

Money / Economy

An economy is built into Essentials and is used on our server. You can check your current balance with /balance or simply pay someone money directly with /pay and also check the richest players on the server with /baltop. More uses for money can be found in the Shops tutorial.

Teleporting

You can request a teleport to someone by using /tpa <player> which he can then either accept with /tpaccept (or /tpyes) or deny with /tpdeny (or /tpno) or a teleport to you by using /tpahere <player>.

If you do not want to get any teleport requests, you can also use /tptoggle.

Warps

These are warping points that are set up by admins where you can teleport to any time. Simply use /warps to list all the warps and then use /warp <warp> to teleport to a warp. More special warps can be bought in the admin shop.

TreeGravity / TG

If you're annoyed by the tree logs falling down, you can always turn that off and back on by using /tg toggle.

Spawn

If you ever want to get back to the spawn just use /spawn.
