What

Lands the long-stranded display rebrand (branch feat/worldview-display-name, 2026-06-17, was never merged — main had zero "Worldview" occurrences). Cherry-picked onto current main and extended to display surfaces added since.

Change (display strings only)

  • README title/tagline/body + Formerly "Religion Council" note (EN+ZH), INSTALL, DISCLAIMER, ORCHESTRATION roster description.
  • Both SKILL.md: title + description (now also naming secular humanism / J. S. Mill and the 世界觀議會 trigger).
  • agents/openai.yaml display_name; MCP serverInfo title; both retrievers' CLI descriptions; corpus-inventory heading/docstring/CLI; religion-8 roster display name.
  • Attribution line (CC BY): "Religion Council contributors" → "Worldview Council contributors" (EN+ZH) — flagging explicitly for review since it is a license-facing string.

Invariants (checked)

  • All machine identifiers stay religion-council: repo/skill/MCP server + tool names, religion-council/retrieval/v1 contract, policy ids, roster filename, occurrence ids. Grep-guarded in validation.
  • History left as written: old CHANGELOG entries, ADRs, committed benchmark reports, review records.
  • Conflict resolved during cherry-pick: kept main's newer argparse behavior in both retrieve.py (no required=True), took only the description string.

Validation

Full suite 443 passed / 1 skipped · ruff clean · identifier grep-guards pass.

Display-only: README/INSTALL/DISCLAIMER/SKILL.md/docs/openai.yaml/retrieve.py docstrings/debate_controller serverInfo.title + skill discovery descriptions. Identifiers (skill name, religion-council-controller, retrieval contract religion-council/retrieval/v1, .religion-council run dir, repo) and the 'Religion Council contributors' attribution are intentionally unchanged.

…hanged)

Extends the replayed 0d3e434 rebrand to display surfaces added since it
was written: corpus_inventory heading/docstring/CLI, project_retrieve
CLI, the religion-8 roster display name, the README CC BY attribution
line (EN+ZH), plus the CHANGELOG entry. Machine identifiers stay
religion-council everywhere (repo, skill name, MCP server/tool names,
contract ids, roster filename); history (old CHANGELOG entries, ADRs,
committed reports) left as written.

… rebrand

Fresh-context review finding: README's CC BY attribution flipped to
Worldview Council contributors while the operative LICENSE-CONTENT
ATTRIBUTION clause and the MIT copyright line still said Religion
Council — contradictory license guidance. Both now read 'Worldview
Council (formerly Religion Council) contributors' (owner-adjudicated).
