Thanks a lot @SarahAlidoost! That is a very nice and comprehensive survey! It looks fine to me. I was just wondering if we should add a sentence to explain the grading system (1-10), e.g. "1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest."

Hey @SarahAlidoost,
thanks for the great start on the survey! I have a few comments which we can discuss tomorrow in the UET meeting or we can dot hat here on GitHub.
thanks. Here (1-10) is an example, it depends on the grading system of the survey tool. and I also think that the survey tool comes with this explanation 🤔 |

Thanks @SarahAlidoost !
I like the first draft of the survey. It is already in a very good shape. I added two comments.

A couple of questions here: Can a user have more than one case study? I do for example. Are they allowed to mention more than one? How much detail do we expect? Is the time estimated (10 minutes )sufficient for that?
Should we provide some use cases and have an other option if theirs doesn't fit into any or all of them?

Can we also articulate some outcomes we want to achieve, something more specific than is in the text?

From a survey analysis perspective, what would be learnt by asking this question? Would knowing the details about a user's specific research be useful? Would it be enough to know whether they use ESMValTool for atmosphere, ocean, etc diagnostics, or for real time model evaluation, or for creating plots for IPCC reports, etc.? Would it be worth adding multiple choice answers for this?
As discussed in User Engagement Meeting - January 20th 2023, I prepared a few questions for a survey to the users. It can be previewed here.
