If you don't want to have to worry about manually updating the userscript every time we make a change, pick the auto-updating version. When using the manual update version, please regularly check for updates.

Install Violentmonkey

1. Go to https://violentmonkey.github.io/get-it/
2. Select the browser you are using:

Not sure what your browser is? Go to https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/

3. Install the extension:

1. Ensure Violentmonkey (or any other script manager) is installed.
2. Open the following link: https://github.com/PlaceNL/Userscript/releases/download/latest/placenl-userscript-autoupdater.user.js
3. Click on "Confirm installation":

If it downloads a file, then Violentmonkey is not correctly installed. In that case, you can use this link instead: https://github.com/PlaceNL/Userscript/releases/download/latest/placenl-userscript.user.js

4. Reload the r/place website (CTRL + F5):

   

Congratulations! Violentmonkey is now running with the Autoplacer script, automatically placing pixels on r/place. Make sure to keep the website https://www.reddit.com/r/place/ open and be logged in to your Reddit account.

Turn Off Violentmonkey

1. Go to your extensions (usually located at the top right of your internet browser):

   

2. Find "Violentmonkey" and click on it.

3. Click on the switch to turn Violentmonkey off:

   

Now, Violentmonkey is turned off.
