In Summer 2018, the UASB team will be working on finishing the designs of all UASB components. More specifically, we will finalize the tipping bucket influent system dimensions, and design a biogas storage system. We will also set up benchtop tests to model flow within the UASB reactor. Should time permit, the team also aims to start fabricating the UASB reactor prototype that will be tested in the Ithaca Area Wastewater Treatment Facility in the near future.
Note: The history of the team goes back as far as 2013; however, the current state of the team involves work done from Spring 2017 onwards. More information on lab scale research can be located on the AguaClara Google Drive both under "Active Subteams" and "Archived Subteams."
