Key Features

  • Reversible Motor Driver: It can control a DC motor, allowing it to run both clockwise and counterclockwise.
  • Integrated Oscillator: The IC includes an oscillator which simplifies the design and reduces component count by eliminating the need for an external frequency-setting component for motor rotation.
  • Output Current: Capable of driving moderate load currents, typically up to 0.5 A, depending on the supply voltage and ambient temperature.
  • Low Saturation Voltage: Features low saturation voltage to reduce power dissipation and increase efficiency.
  • Built-in Protection Features: Includes thermal shutdown circuitry to protect against overheating.
