fix(mcp): list_graphs pages past the SDK's default 10-assistant limit - #1050
Conversation
…urned The LangGraph SDK's assistants.search defaults to limit=10, so decepticon_list_graphs silently returned only the first 10 assistants. Installs exposing more (the OSS standard bundle ships 22) had agents like recon, soundwave and the decepticon orchestrator hidden from MCP callers. Page through with explicit limit/offset until a short page ends the loop. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Add this user-visible fix to CHAGELOG.md
This changes the user-visible MCP graph catalog, but the commit leaves CHAGELOG.md unchanged and no Unreleased entry describes the fix, despite the commit message claiming one was added. Record the proposed fix and its PR link so release tracking does not omit it.

Problem
decepticon_list_graphs(MCP) callsclient.assistants.search()with no pagination. The LangGraph SDK defaults tolimit=10, so on any install that exposes more than ten graphs the tool silently returns only the first page. The OSSstandardbundle alone ships 22 graphs, so agents such asrecon, soundwaveand thedecepticonorchestrator were missing from the MCP tool's output even though they exist and are startable viadecepticon_start_engagement.Fix
Page through
assistants.search(limit=100, offset=…)until a short page ends the loop, then map the full set. No behaviour change for installs with ≤10 graphs.Tests
test_list_graphs_pages_past_sdk_default_limit: 150 fake assistants are all returned, and paging uses explicit(limit, offset)calls[(100, 0), (100, 100)].test_list_graphs_maps_assistantsstill passes.ruff checkclean.Changelog
