Walkthrough
The PR changes archive-install defaults and Mach-O detection, updates ZIP and reqwest dependencies, and adjusts vendored source code. It also changes the package version from 0.5.1 to 0.5.2.
Changes: Archive installation
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Archive selection and Mach-O detection src/install_archive.rs
Archive installation now defaults to enabled on all platforms unless ALTKEEPER_INSTALL_MODE is directory, case-insensitively. Mach-O detection recognizes two additional magic values, and tests cover accepted and rejected inputs.
ZIP dependency and IPA inspection Cargo.toml, vendor/isideload/Cargo.toml, vendor/isideload/src/sideload/application.rs
The package version changes to 0.5.2, and the ZIP dependencies change to 9.0.5. inspect_ipa propagates errors from ZIP entry-name lookup.
Omnisette dependency and source updates
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Omnisette dependency and source adjustments vendor/omnisette/Cargo.toml, vendor/omnisette/src/aos_kit.rs, vendor/omnisette/src/lib.rs, vendor/omnisette/src/store_services_core.rs
reqwest changes to version 0.13 with the rustls-no-provider feature, and a rustls development dependency is added. The source adds lint and dead-code allowances, attempts to install rustls’s ring crypto provider, and casts hook function pointers through *const () before converting them to usize.
BartolomeoRusso9/altkeeper#18: Introduced Wi-Fi archive installation and the ZIP-based packaging path that this PR continues.

Explanation
Docstring coverage is 50.00% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 4 functions across 5 files. Full details: Title check
Explanation
The title "0.5.2" is only a version number. It names no change. The changeset does bump the package version from 0.5.1 to 0.5.2 in Cargo.toml, so the title relates to part of the change. However, the main changes are the archive-based install default in src/install_archive.rs, the zip dependency upgrade to 9.0.5, the Mach-O detection update, and the reqwest/rustls changes in omnisette. The title does not describe any of these, so it is too vague to show the primary change.
Resolution
Replace the version-only title with a short description of the main change. For example: "Default to archive install on all platforms and bump zip to 9.0.5" or "Bump to 0.5.2 with archive install default and zip 9 upgrade". Include the version bump only as a secondary detail if needed.

Minor · Stability & Availability · Quick win
Initialize a Rustls provider for standalone tests.
With the default features, vendor/omnisette runs the blocking remote_anisette test. That test calls reqwest::blocking::get, while rustls-no-provider requires the application to install a crypto provider. A standalone cargo test --manifest-path vendor/omnisette/Cargo.toml therefore panics when the client is created. Add a test-only rustls dependency and install the ring provider in the shared test setup. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
