Basically to have the option to assign a mouse button to open the GNOME App Grid, like the option the opens the Overview/Activities.
It's a feature I find quite useful. I know can just double-press the SUPER key to open the AppGrid, but it's more of a quality of life/UX feature. If you feel that this feature fits the project I added a pull request #125
