new snakemake requires minimum conda version
snakemake seems to fail to delete temp files when checkpoints involved snakemake/snakemake#2982
"Support for alternative conda frontends has been deprecated in favor of simpler support and code base. This should not cause issues since current conda releases rely on fast solving via libmamba."
