Outcome

Make interruption and removal explicit, retry-safe, and recoverable.

Scope

• Define cancellation checkpoints, dependency-aware deletion, finalizers, retention policy, best-effort compensation, orphan detection, timeouts, and manual recovery.

Acceptance criteria

• Cancellation cannot corrupt state.
• Delete races and partial deletion are retry-safe.
• Compensation is distinguished from rollback; blocked finalizers and orphan recovery are visible and audited.

Test and evidence

• Create/update/delete crash matrix and manual recovery exercise.
