Alejandro Fontal's personal Website



I'm Alejandro, a researcher from Barcelona specialized in the application of Data Science in several areas, including but not limited to Bioinformatics, Epidemiology and Computational Biomedicine, with a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Barcelona. Feel free to reach me in any of the socials I left above!

Current role

I am currently performing my research in the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal), combining tools from Time Series Analysis, GIS, Metagenomic sequencing and Epidemiology to try to find out what are the etiologic agents causing a pedriatric syndrome affecting thousands of children every year: Kawasaki Disease.
