It seems this project is not actively maintained right now. That's perfectly understandable - active work on OSS project requires a time commitment that is not always possible for all authors to sustain in perpetuity. There is an active fork with support for more sports at vasqued2/ha-teamtracker.
I'm interested in potentially packaging that project and the companion frontend module vasqued2/ha-teamtracker-card (itself forked from D34DC3N73R/ha-nfl-card) into nixos/nixpkgs.
ha-nfl-card and ha-teamtracker-card are clearly licensed as GPL3.0.
On the other hand, the licensing of ha-nfl is not clear (and therefore the licensing of downstream fork ha-heamtracker). I would like to request a clarification on the licensing of this project, with the goal of propagating it down to the ha-teamtracker fork, to help support potentially adding that module to nixpkgs.
While I hope this is possible, I appreciate any discussion on this (even if the conclusion is that it's not feasible), as I understand it could end up being quite an undertaking to co-ordinate retroactive licensing with all contributors, given there isn't an existing license/CLA.
Regardless of the nixpkgs case, I think that clarity on licensing could also be a help to the active downstream ha-teamtracker fork.
