Is this project still being maintained? #516

Or let us know if you're looking for maintainers -- I'd be happy to review pull requests if you want, @yourduskquibbles. |
Okay, apparently, this is unmaintained. AdGuard has already removed this list from their registry (see PR above). If there is a continued interest in this project, I propose a fork. @riley-martine What is your opinion? |
@lsomm that makes sense to me, given that enough stuff is broken that Adguard has disabled it. There's a lot of good work that's gone into this project and it would be a shame to see it go to waste. I can't commit to being the owner of the fork right now (and I'm not starting any new projects on GitHub, so if I were to be in charge I'd be annoying and move to codeberg or something) I will happily review PRs, triage occasional issues, and maybe try and fix a few things if you (or someone else) wants to take the lead, though. |
Hey @lsomm & @riley-martine In case you are thinking of "taking over", and would like to ask you to considering moving the work into https://github.com/mypdns/adblocker-rules as it sure could need some more attention than I have time and energy to, however same rules applies like in the @matrix project https://github.com/mypdns/matrix/blob/master/README.md#whitelist whitelisting is a private matter, however I'm open for a individual file that common users can add to theirs adblocker for general whitelisting. What ever you come to choose, please give a ping, so I at least can update my import list |
I'd be happy to fork and maintain this project, but I'm not sure if I have the necessary skills and knowledge of Adguard / uBlock Origin syntax. I can take a stab at it once I'm back from vacation. I might need some help though. 😉 |
As promised my fork is open for business https://github.com/LanikSJ/webannoyances I tried to add some commits that I figured would come in handy feel free to submit PRs and I'll approve them. Direct install link:

As the project https://github.com/yourduskquibbles/webannoyances appears to be rather dead according to these online issues - yourduskquibbles/webannoyances#516 - LanikSJ/webannoyances#2 - AdguardTeam/FiltersRegistry#871 (@piquark6046) Welcome to the club of #blacklist maintainers @LanikSJ, hoping you will be holding on for years to come.
I do not want to sound harsh, but it doesn't seem this way. If this is the case, please tell us, so we (the communtiy) can make a fork or something.
