\section*{Biographical Sketch}

The author was born in Kabul, Afghanistan and received his primary 
education in Geneva, Switzerland. He began is studies in physics at 
the University of California, San Diego, where he received a Bachelor 
of Science degree in physics with a specialization in astrophysics.   
He began his doctoral studies at the University of Rochester 
in 2008 where he received a Master of Arts in physics in 2010. 
He pursued his research in supersymmetry under the direction 
of Professor Aran Garcia-Bellido.
