is xBrowserSync discontinued?

I can't install xBrowserSync in Chrome anymore, and Edge is also warning that it will stop working in the future. Is this discontinued? What are the alternatives you have found? Please share.

Any updates if this project is continuing all other alternatives are not even close and don't allow proper integration the sync seems to be also disabled on certain browsers and not allowing me to update. What if someone on this platform or a dev tries to apply maybe for a FUTO grant if that could help save this to ensure it's security and encryption updates for the future?
