Spurious horizontal lines in notebook background

As I set the window's background color to be an eye-friendly color, when I roll up and down the window, there are always herizontal lines.A screenshot is attached here.

When the roll is stopped the lines generally dissapear.

I've also observed this. Just to be clear, I have set the color via Edit >> Configure >> Style >> Document background.

I see the same bug when I set the background via View >> Invert worksheet brightness.

I am working with wxMaxima 24.08.0_DevelopmentSnapshot (retrieved approximate 2024-08-31).
