Should this work? Because for me, it doesn't. Where exactly are you handling the GPIO8-LAT-Pin?

I assume you are asking about TLC5947.

Yes, it does work for me. The LAT pin is handled by SPI driver as it is CE0 (well, that's my understanding!).

Do you have any errors? How do you connect TLC5947 to Raspberry Pi?
