Mapping opt to ctrl on mac?

Hi -- I really like the extension, only that I found it difficult to use my right hand side ctrl button on mac. I'm used to using my right hand's pinky to press the ctrl button on the right hand side. But my keyboard has that key mapped to opt in mac's vscode. I'm wondering if there's a way to remap opt to ctrl in this extension? Or could that be handled globally at vscode? Any thoughts/ideas? Or maybe it's possible to add that as an option in this extension (I'll be happy to work on that feature). Thanks!
