Request for new release – web-eid/ocsp-php dependency abandoned

Hi,

Is there any planned timeline for the next release? The web-eid/ocsp-php dependency has been marked as abandoned since November 11, 2024, but no updated release has been published to reflect this change.

The next release is indeed in the pipeline. It was pending the merge of #39, which was successfully merged yesterday. Now that this key change is in, we're preparing for the release.

That said, some testing is still required to ensure stability and compatibility, so while the release is coming very soon, we can’t provide a precise ETA just yet.

In the meantime, you can already use the latest changes by using the version from the main branch:

composer require web-eid/web-eid-authtoken-validation-php:dev-main

It is tested and relatively stable, we don't intend to change anything until the next release. Also, we’d really appreciate any feedback you might have when trying it out.
