I am the CEO and President of

and an Affiliate of the
<a href="https://uwaterloo.ca/institute-for-quantum-computing/">
Institute for Quantum Computing</a>.

I am involved in the <a href="https://cryptoworks21.uwaterloo.ca">CryptoWorks21 Quantum-Safe Cryptographic Infrastructure Program</a> and I am a member of the
<a href="http://www.etsi.org/technologies-clusters/technologies/quantum-safe-cryptography">
European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) Quantum-Safe Cryptography Standardization Group</a>.

I graduated from
<a href="http://www.cmu.edu/">Carnegie Mellon University</a>
with a PhD in Theoretical Physics. My advisor was
