short git status in [master +1 ~0 -3] format right in the bottom of your IDE
the format is borrowed from a must-have posh-git PowerShell extension
grab it from VS gallery
NOT TESTED AT ALL, it will steal your soul and set your machine on fire, use at your own risk.
I'm building it on Windows 8.1 x64, VS 2013 Premium. You also need to have VS 2013 SDK installed.
