can i send mail from 'xxx@mydomain.com' to 'xxx@otherdomain.com'

when i start the server, I try to send mail from localhost to 'xxx@qq.com', but it failed, the mail's content what i want send is showing on the console, my qq mail didn't receive mail.
I use the javamail to send my mail to xxx@qq.com. can it do this ?
