Segmentation fault with HOR.V3.3

Hi TRASH Devs,

Thanks for your on-going work on this cool tool!

I've been trying to navigate an issue where the region I want to study is too big for the mafft part of HOR module

I modified the mafft call to use the --parttree method - this runs and aligns the to_align_... file and creating the aligned_... file.

When I pass this forward to HOR.V3.3, I encounter a segmentation fault.

Do you have any insight here? I'm sorry if this is nt the intended use - I'm just keen to access the awesome power of your tool :)

I'm afraid I cannot offer any alternatives if the alignment is too much for mafft to handle. In my experience even 100 MB of repeats would run, although indeed requiring massive amount of memory.

@vlothec hi, i wonder do we need to re-install the (alternative) All-in-one package: wget https://github.com/vlothec/TRASH/raw/main/TRASH.v1.2.tar.gz
tar -xzvf TRASH.v1.2.tar.gz after updating some function of TRASH

No, I'm afraid I had to remove the all-in-one version as I'm unable to maintain it and there were fixes that would need to be implemented compared to the main branch.
