Trying and failing to install the library

I have been trying to install the library under python 3.10 for quite a while. I have had problems with the versions of the dependencies of the program, but have finally been able to build the lib. Sadly, I have never had to work with .egg files as it seems to be a deprecated lib building system on setuptools' part.
I would like to know with which version of python you are working with to be able to copy as closely as possible your results. Or, if you have an idea on building your lib properly for python 3.10, I would take it as well.

Sorry for the late reply. I had no problems building ESAC with Python 3.10. For simplicity, I used the environment.yml of DSAC*. The dependencies are very similar, only that DSAC* uses PyTorch 1.6 instead of PyTorch 1.2 - but there seems to be no issue with that.

With that environment, I was able to build the ESAC extension, and test ESAC in the 7Scenes environment using the pre-trained models.

What problems exactly are you encountering?
