Volumetric Rendering

Hey there,

Thanks again for this wonderful project, it really has become a cornerstone in my daily work!

Me and my colleagues were wondering if it was possible to integrate Viser with the volumetric rendering capabilities of three.js. Have you ever considered adding this to the package?
It would be nice being able to visualize volumetric fields such as spatial probability densities etc.

Hi fellow TUM-robotics-phd-student,

I just stumbled across your issue, as Im using viser myself for robotics visualizations. You can actually already achieve that in viser, e.g. using gaussian splats:

And you can also slice it open with a plane and a gizmo:
