is it possible for us to use react-viro to set up the 360 image to allow users to use their fingers to spin around the VR image (like those 360 vr images we see in our facebook news feed) instead of seeing two displays (as in current default view when VR launches for the first time) or have to move their body around to experience 360 (as in your sample 360 photo tour)?

if possible, can point me where i can read more to set this up? tq

Hi @myhendry, take a look at this github issue re: 360 panning with finger -> #103

Let us know if that works for you or if you were describing a different use case

Hi Danny, thanks for your response. My use case is actually simpler. I just need to be able to do 360 panning with finger for a 360 photo only. I plan to have a few 360 photos (which will already be in the app's resource folder) which allow users to do 360 panning with their fingers.

It is akin to facebook's news feeds that displays 360 photos which users can do 360 panning simply with a swipe of their finger. This is easier than having to turn their body 360 just to see a 360 image

I think such a use case will eventually be quite common hence i feel it should be made easy to implement with any tooling

Is there any update on this issue? Haven't seen it being mentioned in the release notes.

@djpane this feature has not been added to the platform. It got re-prioritized in the backlog for other features. Don't have a date for when this will be added, but will update this issue once we have more details.

I'm also looking forward to see if it's possible to move through the image with fingers rather than moving whole device tnx :)

Hi there! Is there an accepted workaround to make this work for both iOS and Android at the moment? If not, what would you suggest? Thanks!
