Map freezes

Describe the Bug

The map freezes when you try to zoom in and out several times. Doors and posters.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Turn on the iOS location service for the app (when using the app)
2. Go to election campaign in the app, then to doors, then zoom into the map to see e.g. Bonn-Beuel (ok, no error)
3. Switch on “Focus areas” > it becomes different dark purple colors (ok, no error)
4. Zoom into a focus area, zoom out again, zoom in again: either the app freezes now - after zooming in and out once. Or, as just tried, zoom in/out 3-4 times until it freezes.
5. Zoom out again and try to move left or right on the map or zoom in somewhere else > now the entire map freezes >> error!
6. map is completely frozen and you need to go out of the application front door completely to fix it

Additional information (another user story):

It happens when moving and zooming the campaign map to certain areas. The app freezes and has to be restarted. The area affected are the zip code areas 14478 and 14480. The problem occurs when I am not there live, but move there on the map. The error occurs regardless of whether I am in the WLAN or using mobile data.

I could reproduce the error on some occasions on an iOS device, but not very reliably. There is some glitch with ios-GPU which causes that. I couldn't find a root cause for that and assume that some redrawing actions might let the GPU get angry. I might have an idea to solve this, but need some time to think about this.

Contradicting to the original description only the map freezes and switching to another part of the app and back should work and make the map work again!

Quick fix: switching between tabs in the app solves the freezing
