AI SDK in Kotlin

I would like to implement this SDK for Kotlin. It's for the cases where you can't use JS, for instance Intellij IDE plugins.
Would you be opposed to an external package like this?

A streamText.toDataStream() like functionality that creates a compatible stream would be super cool. Then you could e.g. use a Ktor API server with a JS frontend.

I will look into it. I am planning on full parity with the JS version, but that depends on my understanding of the original, which I am not confident about.

BTW, fun fact I am using our in-house AI agent goose to write this faster. We are moving to a new implementation using AI SDK and I needed this conversion for the Intellij plugin.
