I have noticed that although the minimap renders at the expected size on high DPI screens it does not actually render at the native resolution but uses from what I can tell nearest neighbor interpolation to stretch what can look quite rough.

(175% scaling)
I saw an old report that explains that there is limitations on rendering scale so I understand that this may not be trivial to fix but maybe the problem would not be as noticeable with a different stretching (upscaling) method?
