Hi Hindsight team 👋
First — thank you for building Hindsight. I built a personal open-source project on top of it and wanted to share it here, since it genuinely wouldn't exist without your work.
Agrasandhany (agy) came from a simple want: I didn't want my agent's memory locked to one app. So agy turns the local notes you already keep into long-term memory any MCP agent can recall. The idea is write for yourself, not for your AI: no schema, no tagging, no curating — just keep writing, and your files stay the source of truth on your own machine.
A few things it does on top of Hindsight:
One honest note: I only came across your official Obsidian integration recently — it wasn't there last time I looked — and it was reassuring to see we'd independently landed on the same sync and folder-scope design. agy's angle is the any-vault case, plus the living summaries (which I noticed you have as "mental models" on the roadmap).
Either way — thanks for the great work. Happy to share more however's useful.
— Yuga
