QuestionI also want to check the redis slow log using vector. It's something like redis-vector-kafka-prometheus. In fluentbit, there are plugins that check the redis slow log, but I don't think they appear in vector. Am I just not finding it? Or is it not there? Vector ConfigNo response Vector LogsNo response |

Vector 0.60.0 does not have a built-in Redis slow-log collector. The A workaround is an external collector that polls Those events can then go to Kafka. To expose them to Prometheus, first derive metrics such as a slow-command counter or duration histogram from the log events. If you’d like native support, please open a feature request describing your use case and the logs or metrics you’d like to collect. Vector 0.60.0 does not have a built-in Redis slow-log collector. The
redissource consumes Redis lists or Pub/Sub channels; it does not runSLOWLOG GET.A workaround is an external collector that polls
SLOWLOG GETand emits JSON events for Vector to ingest, for example through theexecsource. The collector should track entry IDs per Redis instance to avoid emitting the same entries on every poll. Those events can then go to Kafka. To expose them to Prometheus, first derive metrics such as a slow-command counter or duration histogram from the log events.
