[Inquiry] C# wrapper schedules and supported OS

Hi, Valkey-GLIDE team!
Game developers are reviewing Valkey-GLIDE, particularly expecting the AZ Affinity feature to significantly reduce latency and costs in game traffic.

Regarding the C# Wrapper that is widely used by game developers, I'm curious about the following:

1. The current timeline for the C# Wrapper(Preview)
2. Whether there are any plans to support AZ Affinity in the C# Wrapper(Preview)
3. Whether there are plans to support .NET, Windows, and k8s environments, as well as Amazon and Alpine Linux
4. Whether there are plans to provide a migration guide from StackExchange.Redis

1. We are currently planning for a Preview releasse in mid-September.
2. Our original plan was to include the AZ Affinity for the GA release. I'll have to work with the team to see if we are able to move that up to the Preview release. For now we'll leave it as a stretch goal with no guarantees.
3. We do plan to support Windows, Amazon and Alpine linux. I don't know of any reason it would not support K8s, but it is not currently part of our pipeline tests.
4. We are aiming to have a relatively complete API compatibility with StackExchange.Redis. There are some semantic behaviors which may differ due to the underlying differences between StackExchange.Redis and Valkey.Glide. We are continuing to document these in the Wiki at https://github.com/valkey-io/valkey-glide/wiki/Migration-Guide-StackExchange.Redis

The big gaming companies in my country have already switched to Valkey or are considering it, and one of the reasons is the AZ Affinity offered by Valkey-GLIDE and Valkey.

I would appreciate it if the team would consider prioritizing this for inclusion in Preview.

One more question :
If users are using Valkey-GLIDE, should they also consider compatibility based on Windows version or .NET version?

I am not certain what you mean by the last question. We will support Windows, and are currently aiming for supporting .Net 6, 8, and 9 with 10 coming shortly after release.
