using master branch with betaflight sitl

Hello. I need to use the visionaviary in master branch with betaflight sitl. I see that there is a dedicated example for betaflight in main branch, but most of my development is done on master branch, so I would like to use that. Can someone share how to do that? I need to integrate gym pybullet ros2 environment that I've created using visionaviary env class and use that with betaflight sitl
