Would you be able to override the search with your own method?

Can you provide an example of what you would want to be able to do? As mentioned in https://github.com/outfielddigital/konstrukt/discussions/2 we do have some sql query building/built events you can intercept and modify.

Ok so an example might be that I want to search various fields or hook into something like azure search for custom logic. I presume you'll have a similar implementation like inotificationhandler so when entity created, saved etc.. I could hook in and maybe do something with data and push somewhere else.

Something I've been doing recently is pushing into CosmosDb using the entity Framework provider. It's super easy, quick and querying is awesome too. Also they give you a ton of free usage now on the first database on your account. So it costs next to nothing.

I think you could probably do this with a custom Repository implementation https://docs.getkonstrukt.net/api/repositories

It should be pretty easy to make the Get, Save, Delete methods to persist to NPoco as normal but then add your logic to push them to AzureDB, then in the GetAll, GetPages and GetCount methods you can replace those to search your external API. The hardest part is probably converting the LambdaExpressions into you relevant queries but maybe your provider already support this? If not, you'll probably want to look at ExpressionVisitors
